What the numbers say

This is about as close as a head-to-head gets. Same 30 g of protein, and both bottles are 11.5 fl oz. The entire gap is 10 calories per bottle: 150 for Nutrition Plan vs 160 for Premier.

Does 10 calories matter? At one shake a day it adds up to 70 calories a week. If you track tightly, that's a point for Nutrition Plan. If you don't, taste, price and what your store stocks will matter more. Every flavor of both ranks in the top 21 of 143 products on our leaderboard.

Variety and price. We track 6 Premier flavors, all with identical numbers, versus 2 Nutrition Plan flavors. We've confirmed Amazon prices for 3 Premier flavors ($1.67–$2.67 a shake) but not for Nutrition Plan yet, so we can't say which is cheaper per gram.

Caveats

Nutrition Plan is listed as 1 bottle (11.5 fl oz / 340 mL); Premier as 1 shake (11.5 fl oz). Serving sizes differ between products, so compare the protein and calories, not the package.
