What the numbers say
Eight extra grams at no extra cost. Same calories, same price per bar, but Gold has 8 g more protein. That's 18.7 vs 13.3 per 100 calories, and $1.16 vs $1.63 per 10 g of protein, so Bronze costs about 40% more per gram of protein.
Gold is also denser. Gold bars are listed at 62 g and Bronze at 58 g, which works out to 45.2 g vs 34.5 g of protein per 100 g of bar.
Bronze is still a good bar. At 13.3 it ranks #57–#60 of 143, ahead of every classic Quest Protein Bar we track. It only looks weak next to its sibling. Flavor may decide it: we track 8 Gold flavors and 4 Bronze flavors.
